What is Hypnosis?
Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not a state of unconsciousness or sleep, it's a heightened state of awareness and receptivity. The individual remains fully in control and can choose to accept or reject suggestions given by the hypnotherapist.
During hypnosis, the conscious mind becomes less active, allowing the subconscious mind to come to the forefront. It is a state of focused concentration and relaxation where an individual's subconscious mind becomes more receptive to suggestions. It is a therapeutic technique and a valuable tool that aims to access and influence the deeper levels of the mind to bring about positive changes in thoughts, behaviours, and emotions.
